The Real Shark Tale: The Tide is Turning.

A short documentary released this month by the Hong Kong Shark Foundation, called “The Tide is Turning,” describes the turning tide against shark fin soup, a traditional Chinese dish that is popular in Asia.

» This video is so uplifting, I almost cried. Conservation can be a very depressing field to work in. Some days it’s hard to believe that there is hope for any of the issues. Some days it feels like we have to accept a lesser world. A dirtier one.

But then you have moments like this, where a positive change in global attitudes is measurable! Where education and campaigning has and will continue to make a difference. And it makes the tasks ahead seem less daunting.

What’s the temperature of the Shark Fin industry in your country?
